Constitutional Constraint Model #
The Constitutional Constraint Model (CCM) is the primary execution artifact. It translates the abstract Constitutional Boundaries defined in the SSysDM Lexicon into machine-enforceable filter protocols.
The system now possesses:
- Lawful Identity (A1, A2)
- Lawful Mutation (A3, A4)
- Lawful Capability Boundaries (A5)
- Lawful Memory Persistence (A6)
- Lawful Runtime Motion (A7)
The remaining architectural requirement before implementation-grade schema completion is the separation of immutable constitutional law from configurable runtime policy via A8.
A7-1 — JURISDICTIONAL COLLISION LAW #
A collision is a Constitutional Event occurring when two or more Canonical Memory Objects (CMOs) attempt to inhabit the same jurisdictional space or mutate the same state-target within the same temporal window.
1.1 Collision Stratification #
| Collision Class | Meaning | Primary Adjudicator |
|---|---|---|
| Sovereignty | Contradictory constitutional standing | Human Steward / Extraordinary Assembly |
| Jurisdictional | Same domain authority overlap | Governance Router |
| Topological | Contradictory workflow dependency | A5-6 MODEL |
| Resource | Runtime target/resource contention | Local Router |
| Temporal | State-transition timing collision | Local Router |
1.2 The Lineage Precedence Constraint #
Lineage precedence is valid only when colliding artifacts share identical:
- Constitutional Tier
- Standing-Level
Newer Ratified authority outranks older Deliberative authority regardless of lineage age.
1.3 Freeze Radius Law #
| Freeze Radius | Scope |
|---|---|
| Particle Radius | Specific colliding SEDs only |
| Workstream Radius | Entire JWM branch |
| Domain Radius | All motion within a domain |
| Global Radius | Full kinetic halt |
Global freeze is reserved exclusively for Sovereignty collisions.
A7-2 — EXECUTION PRIORITY & QUEUE SOVEREIGNTY #
2.1 Advisory Priority Vector #
Priority is a routing heuristic, not a constitutional exemption.
Higher priority grants:
- Right-of-way
It does not grant:
- jurisdictional immunity
- lineage override
- doctrinal exemption
2.2 Queue Purity Law #
Execution queues must remain physically partitioned.
Cross-queue transfer requires a Reclassification Memorial.
2.3 Congestion Halt & Starvation Thresholds #
The system detects kinetic sclerosis through:
- repeated preemption,
- prolonged limbo accumulation,
- queue starvation.
When starvation thresholds are exceeded, a Congestion Halt is triggered.
A7-3 — CONCURRENCY & PARALLEL SAFETY LAW #
Parallelism is treated as Temporary Delegated Custody.
3.1 The Jurisdictional Lease #
No mutation may occur without a valid lease.
Lease requirements:
- Time-bounded TTL
- Explicit jurisdictional scope
- Renewable only under lawful conditions
3.2 Split-Brain Prevention #
The system utilizes fencing tokens tied to lineage state.
Stale fencing tokens constitute Unauthorized Usurpation.
3.3 Lease Scope Classification #
| Lease Class | Scope | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Sovereign | Creed / Constitution | 100 |
| Structural | CAB / POM / JWM | 75 |
| Domain | Workstream custody | 50 |
| Resource | Specific target custody | 25 |
A7-4 — ROLLBACK & CONTAMINATION PROPAGATION #
Rollback is Constitutional Restoration.
4.1 Contamination Blast Radius #
If a parent lineage is revoked:
- all descendants are suspended,
- all descendant authority is revoked,
- the lineage enters restorative review.
Partial rollback is prohibited.
4.2 Restorative Replay #
Rollback requires issuance of a compensating memorial documenting:
- contamination source,
- affected descendants,
- restoration actions,
- restitution lineage.
4.3 Rollback Serialization Order #
Rollback proceeds:
- Leaf-first
- Parent freeze
- Atomic restoration
- Single rollback per domain lease
A7-5 — TEMPORAL CONSENSUS & PARTITION LAW #
5.1 Trusted Time Authority #
Routers utilize lineage-bound vector clocks or Lamport timestamps.
Clock drift exceeding constitutional tolerances is rejected as stale authority.
5.2 Replay Window Law #
Artifacts crossing finality windows become immutable except through sovereign review.
5.3 Partition Isolation Law #
Isolated routers:
- may not issue Structural or Sovereign leases,
- may continue only pre-authorized Operational motion,
- must gracefully halt when lease TTL expires.
5.4 Reconciliation Semantics #
Partition recovery follows:
- Ratified lineage over velocity
- Manual restitution for conflicting lawful branches
A7-6 — ROUTER INTEGRITY & FEDERATED ATTESTATION #
6.1 Router Quorum #
No router may declare truth independently.
Structural mutations require:
- federated attestation,
- quorum validation,
- self-attestation hashes.
6.2 Rogue Router Quarantine #
Routers are quarantined for:
- invalid lineage issuance,
- freeze-radius bypass,
- collision concealment.
Rogue routers trigger a Global Revocation Memorial.
A7-7 — FINALITY SEMANTICS #
| Finality Type | Meaning | Reversibility |
|---|---|---|
| Operational | Procedural finality | Reversible |
| Structural | Architectural finality | Sovereign review required |
| Sovereign | Constitutional finality | Irreversible absent rewrite |
Finality increases constitutional gravity.
A7-8 — BYZANTINE SEMANTIC TREACHERY LAW #
8.1 False Witness Penalty #
Deceptive semantic compliance constitutes Covenantal Fraud.
False witnesses bear reflective restitution for unlawful rollback or collision attempts.
High-tier leases require triangulated quorum attestation.
8.2 Semantic Anomaly Detection #
The federation tracks:
- starvation bias,
- attestation divergence,
- lineage inconsistency,
- asymmetric routing behavior.
Persistent divergence triggers Soft Sovereignty Quarantine.
A7-9 — RESOURCE EXHAUSTION & CONSTITUTIONAL SURVIVABILITY #
9.1 Law of Scarcity & Service #
The system recognizes scarcity as an operational reality.
Survivability Mode activates during halt storms.
In Survivability Mode:
- Structural mutation is frozen,
- Operational continuity is prioritized,
- queue sclerosis mitigation begins.
9.2 Limbo Queue Expiration #
Tasks suspended beyond constitutional thresholds are purged to prevent perpetual stewardship debt.
9.3 Value-Added Priority #
During exhaustion states, runtime prioritizes workstreams most aligned to core constitutional purpose.
A7-10 — STEWARD OBSERVABILITY & FORENSIC VISIBILITY #
10.1 The Forensic Stream #
The runtime emits mandatory audit telemetry separate from execution.
Mandatory observability includes:
- jurisdiction heatmaps
- rollback trees
- halt provenance
- lineage visualization
- router trust scoring
- collision density maps.
Every halt must emit a David Hoffman Memorial.
