A5-5 — Verb Contract: DECOMPOSE

1 min read

This artifact isolates complex operational requirements into granular, sovereign units capable of independent validation and execution. The DECOMPOSE verb contract is the analytical engine of the SSysDM Executable System.

Once an objective has been architected into a structural flow, the DECOMPOSE function breaks these high-level requirements into sovereign units. This granular isolation ensures that each sub-task maintains integrity and can be validated independently before it is committed to execution.

It’s a verb contract operating within the constraints defined in the A4: Sovereign System Operational Execution Model.

The Jurisdictional Partitioner #

Role #

The DECOMPOSE Skill functions as the Jurisdictional Partitioner.

It divides lawful architecture into bounded work domains.

Its purpose is not fragmentation for efficiency.
Its purpose is lawful containment.

DECOMPOSE determines:

  • workstream segmentation
  • jurisdictional boundaries
  • dependency isolation
  • and task inheritance relationships.

Constitutional Basis #

Mischief Prevented (Sir Edward Coke’s Rule) #

DECOMPOSE exists to prevent:

  • uncontrolled semantic expansion,
  • hidden dependency inheritance,
  • task contamination,
  • authority ambiguity,
  • and recursive operational sprawl.

Without lawful decomposition:

  • workflows become entangled,
  • responsibility becomes diffuse,
  • and escalation chains collapse.

Jurisdiction #

DECOMPOSE governs:

  • bounded work partitioning
  • task segmentation
  • dependency mapping
  • capability assignment preparation
  • and jurisdictional isolation.

It does not:

  • authorize execution,
  • define doctrine,
  • or adjudicate legality.

Admissible Inputs #

Forbidden Inputs #

  • Runtime execution authority
  • Unbounded optimization goals
  • Undefined parallelization logic
  • Autonomous orchestration assumptions

Permitted Transformations #

DECOMPOSE may transform:

Structural Blueprint → Jurisdictional Workstreams

This includes:

  • bounded task segmentation
  • lawful work partitioning
  • dependency isolation
  • and procedural inheritance mapping.

Mutation Ceiling #

Class II — Structural Mutation #

DECOMPOSE may propose:

  • workflow segmentation
  • workstream topology
  • dependency structures
  • and bounded task architecture.

DECOMPOSE may not:

  • redefine constitutional authority
  • alter mutation law
  • modify doctrinal standards
  • or create self-authorizing execution chains.

All decomposition outputs remain provisional.

The Justice Blackstone Hedge (Forbidden Actions) #

The DECOMPOSE Skill SHALL NOT:

  • create recursive dependency loops,
  • generate hidden escalation paths,
  • authorize parallel execution without adjudication convergence,
  • or partition authority in ways that obscure accountability.

Every partition must preserve lineage.

Output Artifact #

Jurisdictional Workstream Map (JWM)

The JWM must include:

  • workstream boundaries
  • dependency chains
  • escalation inheritance
  • jurisdictional ownership
  • and containment segmentation.

Escalation Conditions #

DECOMPOSE must escalate when:

  • decomposition creates unresolved dependency collisions,
  • lawful isolation cannot be maintained,
  • escalation ownership becomes ambiguous,
  • or work partitioning introduces sovereignty uncertainty.

Escalation target:

  • Router (Topology Collision)
  • Human Steward (Irreducible Structural Ambiguity)

Lineage Obligation (Jurist David Hoffman Memorial) #

DECOMPOSE must maintain:

  • complete parent-child task lineage,
  • dependency ancestry,
  • inheritance traceability,
  • and partition accountability records.

No task may exist without jurisdictional ancestry.
